Then…

Hayes Spraying started in the early 1970s as a contract spraying and consulting business, they were the first to use sprayers mounted on 4WD vehicles, originally using two old Willys Jeeps. Prior to that, all spraying was done by air. Recognising that broadacre spraying would become essential, particularly in low rainfall areas, Cutter knew that farmers would need their own equipment rather than relying on contractors. By the late 1980s, growing demand for durable and efficient spray equipment led to a shift towards full-time manufacturing.

With a rich history of innovation and craftsmanship, today we boast a state-of-the-art workshop with a skilled manufacturing and assembly team. Our expertise ensures equipment is tailored to your needs, while continuous R&D keeps our products up-to-date with evolving farming demands. Our modern facility includes a robotic welding station, a 330-cubic-meter electrostatic spray painting booth, and 5-ton overhead cranes, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality.

Here at Hayes, our sales and support team offers exceptional after-sales service. An on-site assembly shed with a Spare Parts department and Administration office guarantees a smooth transition from order to delivery.
